Update on skull-base surgery
"Skull-base surgery" sounds exotic and obscure, but this area - along the bottom of the skull, underneath the brain and above the sinuses of the nose and the back of the throat - is the site of a wide variety of diseases. Left untreated, such diseases can cause discomfort, disability and even death.
